I have not enjoyed this book it is the 2nd Jodi Picoult book I have read and I found them depressing and unrealistic I could not relate to the characters in this one and I found it extremely boring the story did not grip me and i started to dislike the characters and did not care what happened really it was a real struggle to finish it this book was highly recommended but I certainly will not look at another

THIS BOOK IS ABOUT TWO FAMILIES, ONE FAMILY HAS A SON NAME CHRIS THE OTHER FAMILY HAS A DAUGHTER NAME EMILY AND THEY GREW UP TOGETHER TELLING THEIR LIFEN STORY THEN ONE NIGHT BOTH FAMILES GOT A CALL SAYING THEIR KIDS WAS IN AN ACCIDENT AND EMILY DIED THE POLICE THINK CHRIS DID IT AND THIER TRYING TO FIGURE IT OUT.
